Who is the protagonist in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora? Massive Entertainment’s open-world adventure set in the world of Avatar is almost here, and hype is slowly reaching its peak. One of the biggest movie franchises of all time will finally get a proper next-gen game, which combines Far Cry formula with Massive Entertainment’s experience from The Division. And while we know much about the world, that’s not the case for the protagonist. Who is the main player character in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora? Here’s what we currently known.
Who is the Protagonist in Avatar Frontiers of Pandora?
Currently, we know very little about the main protagonist of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. The game’s trailer and promotional material are using a female version of Na’vi. However, it has been confirmed that the main character’s gender is not fixed. Hence, you will be able to choose to play as both female or male characters. Ubisoft has also confirmed that there will be other customization options, including “different body types, voices and body paint”.
What we do know is the Avatar Frontiers of Pandora protagonist’s background story. The RDA’s TAP (The Ambassador Program) was a covert operation that kidnapped Na’vi children and tried to raise them as human loyalists. The RDA head, John Mercer, was behind this scheme and kept the children in Hell’s Gate, where he taught them to betray their own kind. However, when the Na’vi clans attacked the facility during the Pandoran War, the RDA decided to kill the children. Their teacher managed to save them by putting them in cryosleep pods. And that’s about all we currently know about our Na’vi character. You can customize your character, play as male or female, and we know our background story up until the events of the game. Finally, our character currently doesn’t have a name, so we tend to believe that we will be able to name them. However, that’s yet to be confirmed.
