Will you be able to play Avatar Frontiers of Pandora in the early access period? The long-awaited next game from the creators of The Division series, Massive Entertainment, is just around the corner. Avatar Frontiers of Pandora promises a marvellous open world to explore with five different biomes, several Na’vi tribes to meet, and an engaing combat system which includes both human and Na’vi technology. And while the game launches on December 7th, 2023, some players are wondering if they will have an early access period. Read on as we answer this question.
Will Avatar Frontiers of Pandora Have an Early Access Bonus?
Let’s not waste your time and cut straight to the answer – no, Avatar Frontiers of Pandora pre-order and deluxe edition bonuses do not include early access. Hence, there is no early access period for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora. Everyone will get to play the game at midnight, local time, on December 7th, when the game officially launches. It doesn’t matter which edition you buy. If you ask us, this is good news. It has become increasingly popular to try to bate out more money from gamers by promising early access for up to one full week if you purchase some special edition of the game. We’ve seen this predatory practice one too many times in the last year or so. It seems as if every major game publisher is now incorporating this monetization practice for their big releases. Hence, we salute Ubisoft for not doing the same for Avatar Frontiers of Pandora.
Having said that, that doesn’t mean that there are not several editions of the game available. In fact, Ubisoft is locking one quest in the game behind a paywall. The “Familiar Echoes” bonus quest is unlocked on launch only if you purchase the Golden Edition or the Ultimate Edition of the game. Hence, there are still some shady practices here. It’s just that at least they are not involving the early access for extra money. At least for now.
