Where the Stone Falls AC Valhalla - Vote for Ealdorman

Where the Stone Falls is a quest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It’s one of the Lincolnscire quests, the one in which you’re supposed to help the shire vote for a new ealdorman. You’ll have to choose between bishop Herefrith, Aelfgar and Hunwald. All three have their pros and cons, and it’s far from an easy choice. That’s why we’ve written this guide, to help you choose an ealdorman in AC Valhalla Where The Stone Falls.

Ealdorman choice – Bishop Herefrith, Aelfgar, Hunwald

So before you pick, you’ll be able to walk around the room and talk to people. This includes the candidates. You’ll also get a section where you and Odin pour over the details and weigh the candidates against each other. All three seem like they could be the right choice, so it’s hard to just pick one.

The truth is, bishop Herefrith is a member of the Order of the Ancients. As in, the guys you are after. If you choose him, his secret identity will stay secret for a while more, until you’re done in Jorvik. However, if you pick Hunwald or Aelfgar, the bishop will be mad. And I mean really mad.

He wll reveal his involvement with the Order right away, and lock you in the chamber with a bunch of his cronies. Once you have dealt with them, you’ll have to talk to some surprised faces, including the candidate you picked. Once the talking is done, you wll be able to start hunting the bishop down.

In this regard, it makes no difference whether you pick Aelfgar or Hunwald, that’s just down to your personal preference. Pick whoever you like best, just know that if you pick the bishop, he won’t hold the office for long.
