AC Valhalla Update Coming Next Week - Ubisoft Confirms

The official Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Twitter account has confirmed that there’s a new patch coming next week. The timing makes perfect sense, considering that the spring equinox celebration, Ostara, begins on March 19th. Considering that the name of Season 2, according to previous info, will be called Ostara, you can see the connections. As for what we can expect to see in the update, well, there will definitely be some bug fixes, as well as some new content. Maybe even new festival activities, like during the Yule celebration!

As we’ve already said, the confirmation of the new update for AC Valhalla comes directly from its official Twitter. They responded to a fan asking when a new patch will be dropping, saying: “our next patch will be deployed next week. Stay tuned for more details.” At the time of writing, they haven’t released any further information, so I hope you don’t mind if we do some guesswork of our own. If you just wanted to know when the new update will drop, the best we can say for sure is – next week.

Now for some conjecture. As we’ve already said, the name of the next season in AC Valhalla is Ostara. That, in turn, is a Germanic festival celebrating the spring equinox, which begins on March 19th. With all that said, I think it’s safe to say that the update will probably drop next Friday. Besides, Fridays are when the majority of updates drop anyway, so I’m fairly confident with that one.

As for the contents of the update, that’s a complete shot in the dark. I’m not as bold to make very specific guesses. However, we can assume that there are going to bug fixes; hopefully, these will get rid of some of the more egregious glitches, such as not being able to confirm the Fishmonger kill. Maybe, we’ll also get some festival activities, like with the Yule celebration. We’ll have to wait and see.
