AC Valhalla Torghatten Rock Bug Solution

Torghatten Rock is one of the locations with a cairn puzzle in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Those are the meditative puzzles where you pile rocks on top of each other, with the goal of reaching a certain height. They’re usually not hard, and the idea isn’t to challenge the player. However this one is proving to be a tough nut for many, thanks to a nasty bug. In this guide, we’re going to show you AC Valhalla Torghatten Rock bug solution, so you can pile up the stones and get your skill point.

Cairn puzzle bug solution

Although solving the puzzle is rather simple, the bug prevents people from completing it. When it happens, the game usually refuses to let you validate the solution. It either doesn’t show the prompt, even though you’ve used up all the stones and reached the desired height, or nothing happens when you press the button to validate it.

There are two things you could try here. The first is to stack three stones, then wait around thirty seconds before putting down the final one. If that doesn’t help, reloading the last save and trying again should. You could also try to restart the game for good measure, although there’s no evidence that this helps.

In fact, most of the bugs we have seen can be fixed by restarting the game. Unfortunately, this does not apply to the more serioues, game breaking issues, like corrupted save file data, or the Unwelcome quest bug where people get stuck without the ability to do anything but reload or quit the game.

Since there are quite a few of these bugs, we are hoping the developers are working on an update to patch things up in the near future. The nearer the better.
