Tonnastadir AC Valhalla - how to open barred door in locked house
Tonnastadir is an encampment in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It’s a well-guarded compound, and you can find all sorts of interesting things inside – a book of knowledge that unlocks the Raven Distraction ability, the Hutsman Helm and four chests with materials and other riches. Where to find gear in Tonnastadir?
Approach the village from the north, then climb up the watchtower to the left of the gate. Use the rope to get into the longhouse, then drop down and steal the key from the table. Exit and head south towards the area with the big statue. Use the key to unlock the door leading into the cave, and follow it to the bottom. You’ll find a chest there with your gear piece in it.
Tonnastadir book of knowledge
After you grab the helmet, look for a crack in the wall you can squeeze through. It’s to the right of the chest. As soon as you’re past the crack, you’ll see the book of knowledge on a pedestal.
Tonnastadir chests
There are four chests in the area, and all of them are easy to reach. The first is in the big blue longhouse you stole the key from. It’s up near the roof, on a small platform on the beams. The one in the narrow house with the tall roof can be accessed by breaking a weak wall on the upper floor.
The one in the L-shaped cottage is in the basement – you’ll need to break through the planks in order to drop down and get it. The last one is in the tiny cottage near the tower It’s easy to get, but there’s a guard right next to it.
