How to Romance Petra the Hunter in AC Valhalla?

To romance Petra the Hunter in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the first step is to build the Hunter’s Hut in your settlement. After you do that, Wallace the tanner and Petra will become “available;” in fact, Petra will engage with you immediately. She’ll tell you about some wolves that are causing trouble and scaring game. When she asks whether you want to help her, you should, of course, agree. This will take you on the quest called The Huntress.

Later on in the game, after you’ve reached a specific point in the game (we believe it’s after your settlement reaches level 2), Petra will get a small speech bubble above her head. That’s an indication that she has another quest for you. Talk to her, and she’ll give you the mission called Have You Seen This Man. Some really weird stuff happens in this mission, so I’m not going to spoil it. Just track the quest and follow the markers, you’ll get it.

After you complete the quest, you can go and visit Petra in the hut. Talk to her and, if you’ve done everything correctly, you’ll get the “Shall we spend some time together” dialogue option with a little heart next to it. Pick that, and you’ll have a cute little archery competition. When that’s done, find her again and talk to her. After she professes that she likes you, select “I feel the same way.” That’s it, you’ve successfully completed AC Valhalla Petra romance; you big ole chad, you.

How to break up with Petra and other romanceable characters in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?

Once you and Petra have become an item, talking to her brother Wallace will reveal he knows about it and approves. You can even find other bits and pieces of lore in notes around the Hunter hut. But, Petra is not the only love interest Eivor can have. There are various characters in the game you can establish a romantic relationship with. This will face you with a decision to break it to Petra that she’s not your number one girl anymore. Whenever you talk to Petra again you will have an option to kiss her, take things even further, but also to break up with her. If you want to keep your moral code straight you should do so before you romance someone else. However, you don’t have to. As far as I know, there are no consequences when having several girlfriends/boyfriends at the same time. I was in a relationship with Randvi and had that brief encounter with Broder before I figured out that I can break up with Petra. I guess it all depends on how attached are you to these characters.
