Kjotve the Cruel Boss Fight in AC Valhalla
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Kjotve the Cruel is one of the first major boss battles that you’ll encounter in the game. He’s definitely the hardest enemy you’ve seen by that point. The boss fight against Kjotve the Cruel in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla requires reflexes and wit, and will be the test of all the skills you’ve been honing so far. How to Beat Kjotve the Cruel Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Boss?
To beat the Kjotve the Cruel boss in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you will have to approach the battle carefully. You can’t rely exclusively on damage; you need to dodge and parry very precisely and often. Only go on the offense when an opening presents itself. That comes, as you might imagine, comes after a successful dodge or parry. If you’ve ever played a Soulsborne game, getting a hold of this system won’t be much of a challenge.
Kjotve will begin the battle bare-handed, but will pick up his two axes after a while. When you get him down to half health, he will throw you into a large pit, where the last leg of the battle will take place. The same strategy of dodging and parrying still applies, but you won’t have as much room to maneuver. Make sure to use any special abilities that you might have, but don’t get greedy. Parry or dodge, get a couple of hits in, then back on the defensive.
You especially have to be careful when Kjotve does his wind-up charge attack. You’ll recognize it by him flashing red and a rune appearing above him. When that happens, he will charge right at you and attack when he comes close enough. I don’t recommend parrying here; dodging is arguably better. That attacks does massive damage, so your timing has to be really precise. You might fail a few times, but don’t worry, you’ll get him soon enough.
