However, using the knowledge could help save others in the future. So, what should you choose? What are the consequences of the burn or keep choice in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Bleeding the Leech? Well, let’s dive right into our Burn or Keep Book Bleeding the Leech Quest Choice Consequences AC Valhalla guide and see.
AC Valhalla Burn or Keep Book in Bleeding the Leech Quest – What to Choose
The choice of burning or keeping the book in the AC Valhalla Bleeding the Leech quest is entirely a moral one. I really can’t give you the true “best” option here, just what I think is the right thing to do. What I can is allay your fears – neither option has long-lasting consequences on the game’s story, as far as we can tell. It’s all up to your moral judgement. So, without further ado, here’s what happens in each of the cases.
- Burn it – You and Erke throw the book into the fire right then and there, and the quest is over. The call is that too much evil has been committed to acquire this knowledge. “Not worth its weight in blood,” as Eivor puts it. However, all that knowledge and lives will go to waste. Back to balancing humors and other greatest hits of medieval medicine. No further consequences, to our knowledge.
- Keep it – You convince Erke that the knowledge that lies within the book is too precious to discard. Many lives have been lost, but many more can be saved with the cures The Leech has discovered. So, you keep the book, and the quest is over. No further consequences, aside from the fact that you can place the tome in your room, next to your bed.
As you can probably tell, I believe that keeping the book in the Bleeding the Leech AC Valhalla quest is the right choice. That’s just my decision, and I can absolutely see burning the book as a valid choice, too. So, lean onto your own moral compass, and pick what you feel is best for you and your Eivor.
