AC Valhalla Asgard - How to Get to Asgard & Jotunheim
Asgard and Jotunheim are two areas you can visit in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. They’re the otherworldly realms of gods and giants, inaccessible to normal mortals, but Eivor is no mere mortal. And he has friends that dabble in magic, like Valka the seer. Thanks to all of this, he’s allowed to go where others aren’t. This guide will show you how to get to Asgard & Jotunheim in AC Valhalla.
How to access Asgard?
Once you’ve upgraded Ravensthorpe to level 3, you’ll get a quest called A Wise Friend. In it, Valka the seer will arrive to your settlement, and you’ll promise to start building her a home.
It’s a pricey promise – you’ll need 800 supplies and 65 raw materials for the Seer’s Hut. Building it will push you to the next step of the In Dreams quest, in which Valka wants to deal with your visions.
Find flowers for Valka – Thistle
She’ll ask you to collect five pieces of thistle from the plants growing around the pond behind her house. She needs them for an elixir. You’ll find two at the bottom of the waterfall – one on the right, one on the left. Another can be found by scaling the cliff to the right of the waterfall – it’s around half way to the top. Once you reach the top, jump over the river to the right side. You’ll find the last two plants there, one near the edge, the other next to a tree a bit upstream.
Bring them back to Valka and she’ll cook up a potion for you to drink. It’ll taste terrible, but it will transport you to the magical realm of Asgard. Once you’re done with the vision business and you get back to Mortalland, you’ll be able to visit Asgard at will by going to Valka’s hut and drinking the potion again.
How to reach Jotunheim?
After completing your inaugural expedition to Asgard, Valka will give you another quest, called Going Deeper. She’ll ask for more plants – Fireweed and St. John’s Wort. These can be found in cave in Cent, north of the Dover cliffs. Go inside and use Odin’s sight to look for the plants. Once you have them, head back to the seer and she’ll brew you another potion. This one will take you to Jotunheim.
