To trigger the next memory, find De La Serre (exclamation point on map) and interact with him. A small cutscene will start with your next objective, to deliver a letter to him in the moving carriage.

It doesn’t matter how fast you go, you won’t be able to reach the carriage, just keep up with it by cutting off the route over the rooftops and you’ll eventually catch up to to it, though it’s the wrong one.



After the small cutscene, next objective takes you to the church spire, to the very top, with a unbelievable view of Paris at the end of the 18th century. After the quick panoramic tour, you find out about the Fast Travel locations which you need to spot in order to travel from a place to place faster.

Climb down from the top of the church and head to the green marker, the lower gallery, which is your next objective. Keep trying to close the gap by going through the masses. Once you enter the restricted area, you have to be careful to hide behind obstacles, behind carriages, furniture and so on. See the route we used to get to the lower gallery in the video below:

Once you reach the gallery, your next objective is to find De La Serre. Go upstairs to the balcony, then behind the people go down to the hall where the public speech is taking place. Using eagle vision head towards the front of the crowd to trigger a cutscene which will show you the location of De La Serre. Exit the room by going up the balcony on the opposite side.

Once the cutscene ends, you have to fight the 2 brothers and dodge and parry 2 of their attacks. Once you defeat both of them, another cutscene where you have to escape the restricted area and lose track of the guards. This is where the end of Memory 2.
