Assassin's Creed Syndicate Jacob Frye Trailer Released
Ubisoft have published a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. The video introduces Jacob Frye, one of the protagonists, through a fighting scene that involves rival gang members at a train station.
Right at the beginning, Jacob is described as brash and reckless.
Jacob wins a fight by dispatching the five or so gang members, and his combat style is much like what we’re used to seeing in Assassin’s Creed games – fluid, gracious and deadly. What’s interesting are the weapons and tools he uses throughout the battle.
He starts off using a Kukri, a South Asian blade that will act as a dagger. After skillfully cutting a few opponents by throwing and slicing around with it, he switches to a revolver – a standard six-shooter from the period. He tops it with a throwing knife, then finishes the fight using brass knuckles – it seems like fist fighting will be a big part of Syndicate.
Finally, he escapes the scene using the grapling hook from his Assassin Gauntlet. According to the video, the gauntlet will also contain the signature wrist blade, hallucinogenic darts and more. Sadly, the cane-sword wasn’t shown.
Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is supposed to launch on October 23rd, on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version still hasn’t got a firm release date.

We’ve already heard that Evie is the composed one, so it’s no surprise – there will obviously be an interesting dynamic between the two. He has his sights set on taking over the London underground, using mostly his fists and assorted tools. The footage is being marketed as being in-game, from a pre-alpha version.
