It’s no secret that Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is one of the low points of the series. The arguably lowest point, of course, is the launch of Assassin’s Creed Unity, but I digress. Now, I am personally beyond sick of the AC formula, but Victorian England appeals to me as a setting, and I’ve never played Syndicate. If you’re in the same boat as me, you then might want to grab the game for free via the Epic Games Store from February 21st to February 28th. That way, we can at least take the game for a spin and probably quit after a handful of hours, if that.

Syndicate is not the only game that’s gonna be free on the Epic Games Store that week. The other one is Faeria. It is a card game that boasts a “unique living board,” and also claims to be “the only card game where you can gain all 300 cards in less than 50 hours.” I assume that only the base version of the game is going to be free, of course. I doubt that all the DLC is going to be a part of the deal, since those go up to around $90 total.

So, there you have it folks. That’s the haul of free games on Epic for February 21st-28th. Incidentally, you can still get Kingdom Come: Deliverance for free still; well, the base game, that is. Oh, and if you do pick up Syndicate, you might want to take a look at our massive list of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate guides and other articles, just in case.
