AC Origins Pyromaniac Trophy - How to Set a Mummy on Fire
Pyromaniac is one of the achievements in Assassin’s Creed Origins. It was added in the Curse of The Pharaohs DLC. In order to get it, you’ll need to kill a mummy by setting it on fire. Most people who have an issue with this trophy actually have trouble finding a mummy. You’d think there’d be more of those in ancient Egypt. In this guide, we’re going to show you how to unlock AC Origins Pyromaniac achievement.
How to set a mummy on fire in AC Origins?
Some players claim the trophy can be unlocked even by setting fire to mummies that aren’t enemies, but rather objects in the environment. However, the description does specify you need to kill it. There’s a great place where you can achieve this in the Aaru afterlife (Nefertiti’s place). It’s called the Dock of the Eclipse, and it’s directly south from the entrance, in the eastern part of the area.
When you get there, you might notice a mummy on the dock. The mummy never leaves the dock, which means you can just shoot a flaming arrow and set the whole thing on fire, and the dumb bastard will just stand there and sizzle while you get your achievement.
Seems the developers have clicked to this as no longer works. Mummy doesn’t just stand there and will actually come looking for you. Limited oil vases to shoot at aswell.
