How to find ancient stele inside Tomb of Alkathous

The tomb is located west of the city of Megara, in the Megaris region. It’s at the bottom of the hill where the big temple is. Once you go inside, you’ll notice some people in the antechamber, sitting at a table, looking busy. If you turn right and go into the adjacent chamber, you might think there’s nothing of interest there. It’s a gloomy little room, but if you look at the far end, you might notice there’s actually a boarded up hole in the wall. Break the boards and you will gain access to the tomb proper.

When you’ve gone through the hole, the corridors will lead you to the stele. There’s no way to miss it at this point – it’s a big, glowing rock, and it’ll appear right in front of you. Simply interact with it and you’ll get an ability point.

Epic chest in Tomb of Alkathous

After you’ve visited the stele, turn left and climb the stairs. In the middle of the chamber, you might notice a big, white chest – that’s one of the epic chests. Open it up and you’ll get a purple item – a weapon called the Head Hook. It should drop at your level, no matter how far into the game you are.

Watch out for the snakes – there are several in the room with the chest. They probably won’t be able to do much damage, but it’s a nasty, slithering surprise nonetheless.
