The beginning of the riddle can be interpreted two ways. Either that from atop the knossos palace you will see a tree etc. OR atop knossos palace there is a tree. When you realize it could be the first alternative, it is quite easy. Because from atop Knossos (i.e. the synchronization point), you can see a huge lonesome tree on a hill on the horizon. It really sticks out compared to the shrubbery atop the palace itself
Thank you for your coment. I could never interpret it in the first way, so I was going through every tree on top of the palace and going crazy because there was nothing there.
