Where to Find Aingimata Ostraka in Octopus Bay Temple of Poseidon?

The Temple of Poseidon in Octopus Bay is more or less in the center of the area, just to the southwest of the synchronization point in the area. Incidentally, Octopus Bay is an area in the northeast of the Messara region. You can reach the Temple of Poseidon form the synch point within like a minute or so; you can borderline see the ostraka itself from the perch.

The Temple of Poseidon ostraka is fairly easy to find, as well. The temple area is really small, and there’s not a lot to distract you from your goal. The ostraka is in a small pool of water to the left of the temple entrance. It has a roof, supported by four, small pillars. The ostraka is inside the pool, just yours for the taking.

Till Death Do Us Part Ostraka Riddle Solution – Tree Atop Knossos Palace

Description: Atop Knossos Palace you will see a tree that shoots for the stars. But, like the love that lies at its roots, it’ll never get that far. I hide away between bar and bone and curse the promises they made. Set me free at the foot of this tree, where with all their hearts they prayed.

This was one of the most frustrating ostraka to solve. The clue tells points you to the palace of Knossos, to the southeast from Octopus Bay, in the Minos’s Legacy region. That’s fine. It’s the line talking about the tree atop Knossos Palace. The palace is falling apart, and there are tons of trees growing atop of it. And, guess what: Not a single one of them is the tree you’re looking for.

Instead, you’ll have to go waaay to the south of Knossos palace, up a path to the top of a hill totally in the southeast of Messara, where you’ll find a really tall tree. There are two skeletons there, surrounded with pillows and flowers. The ostraka engraving is on the skeletons. Yes, the ostraka solution is not even remotely close to Knossos Palace; you can even call it technically “atop” anything. Take a gander at the screenshots above to get a better idea of where the ostraka reward is.

The developers dropped the ball! Poor writing and play testing. That damn tree is not is not atop the palace!

There’s nothing wrong with the clue. It does not say the tree is a top of the palace. It says it can be SEEN from a top of the palace. The developer did not drop the ball. The players did.

Once again, you guys come to my rescue! I spent almost an hour not only searching every stupid tree on top of the palace, but the trees on all the other levels, too, and all the way down to the entrance to the labyrinth (thinking maybe the tree just marked a spot below where you were supposed to look). “Atop Knossos Palace you will see a tree…” Pretty sneaky, you bastards.

    Thank you for this!

Haha! Thank you so much I spent a good 30 mins checking every damn tree.. thinking maybe I was getting close when the music would start playing…? Nope. That obviously means nothing but will start and stop at certain parts of the map and there is nothing nore there to find so no clue why they do that. I Finally looked it up. God Bless you for finding it for me. It was bugging the heck out of me.
