Where to Find Spartan Polemarch Seals – AC Odyssey Creating Opportunity Quest

You can find Spartan Polemarchs and their seals all across the map in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. When you get the Creating Opportunity in AC Odyssey, you might assume that only Polemarchs and Spartan Seals from Attika count. After all, you get the quest from Demosthenes in Greater Athens. However, there are only, like, two Polemarchs in Attika. Luckily for you, any and all the Polemarchs are fair game. You can get whichever three you want. In fact, you can just go on your business completing other quests, and chances are good that you’ll get three Spartan Seals.

Below, we’ve provided you with some of the Spartan forts that have Polemarchs and Spartan Seals. Basically, what you’re looking for is the red tower-shaped marks on the map. If they have squiggly lines below it, it will have a captain, so that’s not what you want. You just want those red towers. That’s kinda all there is to it, really.

The Polemarchs are also easy to spot. They have fancier armor, and very ornate helmets. Their level icon also has a crown on top. All you have to do is to let Ikaros fly when you reach one of the forts to mark your target. Swoop in, kill them, pick up the Spartan Seal, and vanish. When you have three, go back to Greater Athens and report to Demosthenes, near the Statue of Athena.

Poor guide. Despite Spartans being ‘red’ and Athenians ‘blue’ the towers are red icons despite who’s inside – lazy/stupid programming! You can tell if the polemarchs inside the towers are Spartan by looking at the map and seeing that the red tower icon is within a red land border and it will say ‘Spartan Leadership’ – Spartan and Athenian soldiers looked the same to me, and I was wondering why polemarchs weren’t dropping seals.
This ‘Creating Opportunity’ mission is also recommended L21, yet this guide gives polemarchs that will slaughter a L21 player.
The tower at Red Lake Bay, Lokris (north of Boeotia), is an easy one to sneak in and out of to assassinate the polemarch.

I found that if you wait a while, the polemarch will respawn. I killed the same one twice to complete the quest.

My question is: How do you trigger having Demosthenes talk to you when you get near him in Athens? Do you need to have progressed to a certain point in the game?

I am have an issue with obtaining the seal.
I’ve killed and looted 5+ Spartan polemarch’s and somehow I only have 1 seal.
Am I missing something? Or doing something wrong? I tried to Google similar issues but haven’t seen any.
    Please help in you may!
    Thanks

Yeah, only Polemarchs from FORTS have seals. I made the same mistake.

Bizarre they didn’t put up a pic of the Creating Opportunity mission location. In the centre of the Greater Athens area of Attika is the mission. On the map where the Statue of Athena sync/fast travel eagle icon is, it’s on the eagle’s left wing tip.

So far I have killed two polemarchs, but neither dropped a seal. Am I doing something wrong?

      Yea they were not polemarch

Yes, they were Athenians. The regions must be controlled by Spartans before killing the polemarchs for the Spartan seals.

If in doubt, use Ikaros to to scan the suspected Polemarch. This will show the “Loot” carried. One of the items should be a Polemarch seal (looks like Stentor’s seal, if you’ve gotten through that part of the game).

Remember if you are doing Demostenes quests you must kill the Spartan Polemarchs (in Spartan forts). When you start doing Lysander’s quests you will need to kill Athenian Polemarchs.

ALL the commanders have a crown on top of their level indicator shield. But only the polemarches have an extra border around the shield.
