Assassin's Creed Odyssey Season Pass & Post-Launch Content Revealed
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is just a few weeks away now. So, the devs have revealed the season pass content, as well as the post-launch content plan for the game. And, boy oh boy, there’s a lot. Season pass owners will get two large story DLC, doled out in episodic format, as well as Assassin’s Creed III Remastered. The game will also have a bunch of free content, such as the Lost Tales of Greece quests, weekly and daily contracts, and more.
First up, let’s go through what the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey season pass owners will get to enjoy. There will be two separate chunks of story DLC, both of which will be divided into three episodes each. The first one, Legacy of the First Blade, will have you play as the first Assassin to use the hidden blade. This will certainly be an interesting DLC for all fans of the franchise. The first episode of Legacy of the First Blade will come out in December 2018. Episode 2 will come out about six weeks later, ant Episode 3 after a further six weeks.
The second story DLC, The Fate of Atlantis, will have you exploring the sunken continent. No doubt, you’ll meet a whole host of mythological creatures and historical figures that have somehow ended up in Atlantis. You’ll also get to learn more about the lost First Civilization, as the below-embedded trailer calls it. The first episode comes out in Spring 2019, with further two episodes, all in about six weeks from each other. Oh, and everybody that purchases the Season Pass also gets Assassin’s Creed III Remastered!
Of course, there will also be free post-launch content for all AC Odyssey players. First off, there will be brand new quest lines called Lost Tales of Greece. They will release in regular intervals between the Story DLC episodes, and will feature both familiar and brand-new characters. Also, every week, players will be able to face off another Epic Ship or Epic Mercenary to challenge their skills. There will also be special daily and weekly contracts that will earn you a special currency. You can then spend this currency at the Oikos of the Olympians merchant for rare and exotic gear. That is to say nothing of further mythical beasts and other surprises.
