Best Starting Horse - Which Mount To Choose - AC Odyssey
Soon after you start Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, you’ll get to pick a horse. Your friend Markos will offer you three mounts to choose from, and if you ask him about them, he’ll tell you each one has different qualities. Players are beginning to wonder which one of these is the fastest – you only get to take one, and you’ll be stuck with it for the rest of the game. In this guide, we’re going to show you which is the AC Odyssey best starting horse, so you can decide which mount to choose at the start.
AC Odyssey fastest horse
The horse on the left, the gray one, is from Skyros. It’s supposed to be sturdy, with the ability to cling to mountain passes like a goat. The one in the middle, which is brown, is from Thessalonia, and is known for its courage. The mount on the right (the white one) is from Makedonia, and Markos claims it’s a true warrior’s horse, bred for going into battle.
All of these sound good. The terrain is rugged, and you’d definitely have use for a horse that can climb mountains. You’d also want a horse that doesn’t flinch when arrows start flying and swords begin to clash against armor. In theory, it’s supposed to be a tough choice, and you might spend quite a while trying to decide which one to pick.
However, they are all the same. We’ve tested all three in various situations, and they turned out to have the same speed no matter the terrain, and act the same no matter the situation. The difference is purely cosmetic, and even that is negated when you eqiup any skin other than the default one. So don’t lose any sleep over the choice and pick the one whose looks you like the most.
This made me super happy ! thank you
I mean the guy is a merchant lying is his job…
This is so stupid… giving you the illusion of choice is a calling card of a mediocre game. It’s honestly upsetting/insulting when they try to trick you into thinking there’s more content than there is. Just have the player pick between 3 colored horses and don’t add in that they’re also unique in their abilities if that’s a lie….
Not bad game
The thing is….. the game doesn’t trick you, the “merchant/conman”-friend does. He’s a hustler trying to “sell” you something exclusive….. That’s how you jack up the price…….
My OCD and I have been stressing over this, thanks for this info it is a huge load off my shoulders.
