Since you start off as a thief in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, one of the first things that you’re going to need to learn in the game is – how to pickpocket. This will stay useful and relevant throughout the entire game. Especially when it comes to stealing (via pickpocketing) Dervis’ Artifacts. Though this activity requires that you have thoroughly mastered pickpocketing, as many of these targets are very difficult to steal from. To help you with all of this, we are going to explain everything that you need to know about how to pickpocket Dervis’ Artifacts in AC Mirage, including how to do this quickly, as well as the complete list of all the rewards you can get from this side activity.

How to Pickpocket in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Once the game starts, you are going to be instructed on how to pickpocket. Though, the game doesn’t really provide a lot of information about how to successfully pull this off. So let’s go over the entire process from start to finish. First of all, you should turn on Eagle Vision to highlight and see which pouches you can pickpocket. After that, get close to the NPC that you want to pickpocket. Press the button to begin pickpocketing (by default, this is E on the PC, Y on Xbox). Doing this will cause a white square to start moving towards a blue square area.

In order to successfully perform a Pickpocket, you have to press the Pickpocketing button again when the white square has entered the blue square. If you press it too early or too late, the Pickpocketing action is going to fail. This will alert the person that you tried to steal from, so you should make a run for it to avoid getting attacked by guards. Additionally, your Notoriety will rise. Needless to say, this is something that you will want to avoid.

How to Quickly Pickpocket the Targets for Dervis Artifacts in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Later on in the game, you will once again meet up with your old friend Dervis. In fact, he is the hidden rebel supporting merchant in the Dyeing Factory. Talk to him and he will tell you that he has jobs for you – if you are up for it. This takes the form of hunting for Dervis’ Artifacts. There are 18 of these in the game, and they are in the possession of various NPCs across the map. When you get close enough to them, they are going to become marked and visible on the map. The problem is that they are much more difficult to Pickpocket than other characters. So how can you make this faster and more reliable?

Well, the best method is to get the Pickpocket Mastery skill. It’s a part of the Trickster Skill Tree, and is one of the best skills to get in the game. Though, as you are going to need to invest 10 Skill Points before you can unlock it, it may be best if you save this for a later point in the game and ignore Artifact hunting – at least for now. With it, the window of opportunity is going to be greatly expanded. AC Mirage Dervis Artifacts Rewards

As already stated, there are 18 of these Dervis’ Artifacts in total in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. He will first ask that you bring him three, then six, and then finally nine. When you bring him the first three, he will reward you with the following: x70 Leather, x120 Components, and x70 Steel Ingots. Bring him the next six and you’ll get: x110 Leather, x180 Components, and x110 Steel Ingots. Components are especially important and not very easy to find, so this is a good way to get them. And finally, when you hand in the last nine Artifacts, you’ll receive the Treasure Hunter Costume outfit.
