AC Mirage Delight by the Dome Enigma
Assassin’s Creed Mirage “Delight by the Dome” Enigma is an image that points you to a spot with a secret treasure. Solving the textual or image riddle usually depends on how much of the game you explored or played through. Enigmas in Assassin’s Creed Mirage are fun activities to give you a brief respite from all the sneaking and action. I’ve been a fan of them ever since Assassin’s Creed Unity. Beside them being fun distractions, they are sometimes fiercely hard. Solving Delight by the Dome Enigma, in AC Mirage, will hinge solely on the extent of your Baghdad exploration so far. I was lucky to do it fast. To help you solve Delight by the Dome Enigma quickly as well I’ll show you the exact map location of the picture puzzle solution.
How to Start Delight by the Dome Enigma in Assassin’s Creed Mirage?
Delight by the Dome Enigma starts in the Abbasiyah district. You’ll have to look for the mosque viewpoint in the Suburb of Kahtabah. Getting near it will reveal the enigma icon on your in-game compass and map. Just approach the mosque and you’ll find the collectible left before the entrance. No loops to jump through.
Clicking on the enigma document in your inventory will just reveal an image of what looks like some sort of temple or official building. There’s a red X mark near a pond in the lower right of the picture. There’s also a very distinct water fountain in front of the building. I would also recommend looking at the canal/river to the left of the picture that exits the city’s walls. This places the building next to the outer walls of ancient Baghdad.
Delight by the Dome Enigma Solution Location in AC Mirage
Your usual process would be to go to every intersection of a waterway and a wall and then look for the building depicted in the picture. I explored Baghdad beforehand by visiting every viewpoint in the city. It makes life so much easier in Assassin’s Creed games. This also made AC Mirage Delight by the Dome Enigma solution become quickly obvious. It’s because the dome in question is where one of the viewpoints in the game is. I think it’s also the only POI with dome in its name. Look for it in the south of Abbasiyah district. You’ll also find one of the funniest things in the game there (tickles my teenage funny bone). However, I must emphasize that this is due to different cultural references and that you should read a paragraph about how much this meant for the people of ancient Baghdad and the whole culture.
What you are looking for is a building called Dome of the Ass. It has a viewpoint on its roof. There’s a distinct fountain in front of it in shape of an 8 point star. From the viewpoint go directly north towards the garden. You’ll see a small pond with flowers around it next to a gazebo, under a willow tree. Inside the pond is the Delight by the Dome Enigma.
Dome of the A** (Donkey)
The Year of the Donkey was very special for the Abbasid Empire. The animal itself is also present in the teachings of Islam. The Qubbat al-Himar, which is the old name of the building, would have been a well respected name by the contemporaries, without any funny connotations. Donkey was a noble animal fit for royalty in those days. The building was built in the 900s by the caliph. He made it big so that he could ride his donkey up to the top.
However, the whole GosuNoob crew reveled at the idea that we might write an article with a heading Dome of the Ass in the Ass-ass-in’s Creed Mirage. Credit goes to Chronocrator for thinking up this epic headline.
