A Challenge Enigma AC Mirage
A Challenge is an Enigma puzzle in Assassin’s Creed Mirage found in the central part of the Abbasiyah district. It consists of a text that poses a riddle. You then have to solve it to find its treasure. In AC Mirage Enigmas reward you with cosmetic items, like talismans or dyes for your armor. Go southeast of the House of Wisdom and you should then see A Challenge Enigma icon on the map. You can’t enter the house where the icon is. Collectible is on a balcony on the wall right of the entrance into the house. The riddle mentions the isle where waters split. I spent some time searching for it. To help you find the solution to A Challenge AC Mirage Enigma here’s some tips and final location on the in-game map.
Seek the isle there waters split east of The Ram, the Scales, the Gourd observers
A Challenge Enigma consists of a small text describing where to look for the treasure. At first glance you’ll be looking near water. Here’s what the text says:
Think yourself an intellect?
Then try to find my hoard.
Turn east from where the learned observe
The Ram, the Scales, the Gourd.
Seek out the isle where waters split
And once you’ve dared to ford
Its banks
You’ll find
That at my flanks
Wheels churn, therein is stored
What once stood proud
Now felled and cowed
That scriveners might record.
Look within
My walls and win
An intellect’s reward.
It is as if the game is taunting us with all this challenging of our intellect. The first noticeable clue is to look east of where learned observe the Ram, the Scales and the Gourd. Since these are all constellations I am thinking this is the observatory, which is located north of the enigma’s starting location. I then looked at the in-game map and saw a split in the river just east of the observatory. I went there and then noticed that there are three watermills at the tip of the split. This must be what “wheels churn” section of the AC Mirage A Challenge Enigma refers to.
AC Mirage A Challenge Enigma Exact Solution Map Location
Go to the observatory viewpoint and then go east to the river. You want to scout out the three watermills on the tip of the split in the river east of the observatory to locate the A Challenge Enigma solution. One of those has a barred door going out to a small wooden balcony. It also has a barred window on the other side. What you want to do is climb up its southern side wall and you should notice a window with bars on it. You can throw a dagger through the bars and then that will free the barred window on the western wall of the watermill.
Enter the building through the newly open window and then you should see the familiar white shine on the ground floor. This is the location of A Challenge Enigma solution in AC Mirage. Please refer to the screenshots bellow for the location on the in-game map.
