How to Use Camera & Find Pictures in Animal Crossing New Horizons

The Animal Crossing New Horizons Photo Mode option lets you take and save screenshots from the game. In the Camera mechanic in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you can apply various filters and play with the image in other ways, among other things. However, there are two potential questions that you might be posing. The first one is how to use the camera in New Horizons, and the other might be where to find the screenshots you’ve taken. How to Use Animal Crossing New Horizons Camera?

To use the camera in Animal Crossing New Horizons, the first thing to do is bring up your NookPhone by pressing ZL. Then, select the Camera application. This will bring up the appropriate menu. With ZL, you change filters, and you can cycle through frame – no frame – frame with dates etc with L. You can also use the directional buttons to move the camera, X and Y to zoom in and out, press R to look up, and – or B to cancel.

When you have everything as you like it, press the + button to take the picture. You might have to fiddle with the filters and so on for a little bit, but other than that, taking pictures in Animal Crossing New Horizons is pretty simple. Now, you might be wondering how to access the pictures you’ve taken. Well, that brings us to our next point.

Animal Crossing New Horizons Pictures – Where to Find Screenshots?

To find the screenshots (or pictures, if you will) that you’ve taken in Animal Crossing New Horizons, you have to go back to the Home menu on your Switch. Then, go to the Album icon (the blue, square icon) and select it. This will take you into a menu where you can view all the screenshots that you’ve taken in all of the games you have on your Switch, including, of course, the ones from New Horizons. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way to do so in-game; you have to go the long way around.
