Keep some of them and put them someplace nice, like your property or the plaza or wherever, if you really have to move them around. Yes, the hardwood trees seem like they’re there just to be cut down for resources, since they don’t bear fruit or anything, but they’re not. Here’s what I mean.

Seasons in Animal Crossing New Horizons last for three months, depending on your real-life time. Spring happens in March, April and May in the northern hemisphere. Cherry Blossom season is in April in the north; in the southern hemisphere, I assume that it’s gonna be October, but don’t quote me on this. Either way, once the Cherry Blossom season rolls around, you’re going to start seeing some of those hardwood trees that you’ve spared the axe explode in lovely, pink flowers.
