The ACNH 2.0 update for Animal Crossing has left players wondering how to get new villagers Shino, Sasha, Ione and Roswell amongst others. 16 brand new characters have joined the roster. Half of these will be returning from previous games, while the rest are brand new. This means the game now has over 400 villagers in total. How to Get New Villagers Animal Crossing 2.0 – Shino, Sasha, Ione, Roswell & Others
The update is available now, as well as a paid DLC content pack named Happy Home Paradise. Once you have the update, there are quite a few ways to get the new villagers. The hard part is actually finding them all. When found, you can invite them to your island for permanent residency. The new villagers are listed below:

- Shino

- Roswell
- Fait
- Quinn
- Chabwick
- Zoe
- Cephalobot
- Ace
- Rio
- Fret
The most proactive method is to go hunting for them. Using your Nook Miles tickets, move to various islands, and see if you can find one of the new villagers. This does require a large amount of Nook Miles.
Other methods involve an element of chance. Restart your island, cross your fingers, and hope they appear as one of your starting villagers. You could open up a housing plot and wait to see if they wander in. When you open a campsite on your travels, you also increase your chances of them stopping by.
Online players can try connecting with a friend. If they have one of the villagers, you can adopt them when they move out. Wait until they have packed up then talk to the villager and invite them to your island.
Try Amibo cards as another method. 48 of these will drop when the download is available, and 16 will include the new villagers. You can use the to bring your desired villager into your game.
