Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the final major update for the game. As well as this, a paid add-on named the Happy Home Paradise DLC will also be available. This means you have loads of new content in the Animal Crossing kingdom.

Expect characters from previous Animal Crossing games to return. These include Kapp’N, Tortimer, Katrina, and Harriet. A new marketplace on Harv’s Island will see new haircut options for Harriet and Katrina will tell your fortune every day. A museum expansion will see Brewster open a new coffee shop named The Roost where people can meet. Gyroids will also get a host of new variations and customization options.

When Does Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.0 Update Go Live

The official release date for the games is November 5th. However, this may not be strict. As Nintendo does not give a specific release time, it usually means 10 am on the release date in Japan. Of course, this is not the same as the rest of the world.

If this does hold true, then it means players in the US can get their hands on the game at 6 pm PT or 9 pm EDT on November 4th. In Europe, players can expect to get the game on the 5th of November at 1 am GMT, so stay up late (or get up early) if you want to play.
