There are 33 computers that you can hack in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. They are spread all over the four floors of Abstargo Entertainment building.

Beside hacking computers that counts for computers hacked collectible, there are also servers that you can hack into. Hacking servers also contributes towards the computers hacked number. Some of the rooms that have computers/servers inside them also have security clearance levels you need to obtain in order to enter them. You get this security clearance level while playing the main story missions. You are going to hack 4 computers, while playing missions, that count towards the computers hacked number.
In order to reach the Abstargo Entertainment building, while you are in role of the pirate, press start on your controller. This will pause your simulation and bring up a new menu. In this menu press “Quit” and “Exit Animus”.
Hacking computers and servers requires solving sphere puzzles, data stream puzzles and prime number puzzles. With sphere puzzles you should guide your data avatar towards the green line. This can be hard as data avatar, presented as a dot, moves straight until it reaches the end of the line. You, basically, need to find a line whose one end closes a 90 degree angle with the green line. With data stream puzzles you should navigate another dot through security programs presented in a shape of lines that move up and down. With prime number puzzles you should find the correct combination of numbers, while navigating through given number combinations.
Rewards for solving these puzzles come as audio, video and written lore. Inside of this guide you can find all 29 computers that you can hack. Four, out of all 33 needed for the achievement, are acquired through missions.
Note: If you are missing one or more hacked computers for completion of entire collection, you should go to all floors and scout those areas. Opening map and switching between maps will not reveal computer’s or server’s map icons you had not hacked before.

My game must have glitched. I’m missing the Data Stream Puzzle

This is the #2 computer on the cco floor. I’ve finished the game and I have hacked all the other computers. If I stand in front on this computer it’s blue but there is no option to connect to it. Super frustrating. Looks like a lot of you are having a similar problem. Please help 🙁
i finished the game twice with two different versions of the game.and in both of two games i hacked all computers but i think the files we get may different,because at my first playing there was haytham kenway at the section of grand masters,so with him there is 4 g.m.,but at the second one i couldnt realize haytham file in there.just 3 grand master.anyone got same issue like that?

His name is Haytham Kenway, The Loyal Father. In game text says : “Suave, debonair, and clever, Haytham Kenway was a hero for a generation of men desperate for a decisive and charismatic leader. Slain by the ungrateful son who could not appreciate the wisdom of his pragmatic, race-blind approach to politics and personal life, Kenway’s tenure as Grand Master of the Colonial Rite ended abruptly in 1781.”
I have 32/33, I checked all entries in the database. All of them are there – 6 (7 – video given by Melany) Abstergo Entertaiment., 7 Abstergo Industries, 4 Great Minds, 7 Subject 17, 5 Subject Zero, 4 Market analys – 6 + 7 + 4 + 7 + 5 + 4 = 33. Also, when I go to hall random computer is blue, but each time another one. So it is certaily a bug. Also, when I hacked the 33 computer, I get promt that I have 33/33, but in my goals it shows only 32 🙁
It was “funny” for me as well. At the end of writing this guide, I’ve was sure I had missed one computer, even though I’ve had 33/33. So I’ve went back to fl. 15 – cco and hacked computer number 2 for the first time. Somehow it had counted as hacked computer during the previous mission. And guess what? It showed me 34/33 now…
When you complete mission that sends you to fl. 15 – cco, game counts that as 2 computers hacked, although you have hacked only one computer. If you come back to that floor and hack the computer at the desk of a secretary (number 2), game counts that as 34/33, at least it did for me…
Yah, same issue. 32/33 and going off your picture maps I’ve covered them all. #21 and #9 show as Blue/ Green but can’t do anything to them. Yet I know I’ve been to them prior.
I did all the computers AFTER completing the main story, and I went into her office to to make sure I didn’t miss anything and she wasn’t at her desk at the time. Try finishing the story, then checking her office again.
I somehow missed hacking Melanie’s computer. Hers is the only one I need, and I’m at the moment where you start the final sequence. She’s sitting at her desk. Am I boned?
It’s the computer with the reward of the Grandpre market analysis.
Definitely bugged. The last one for me is the one marked “1” in the lobby in the screenshot above. It still has the green screen (non hacked) but no symbol is shown in the map, nor the context button appears to start hacking, and pressing B nearby does nothing.
Other bugs of the game include stuck social events (like royal convoys), or impossibilty to start multiplayer mode when a non XBox controller is plugged in (and pluggin in while playing crashes the game).
Check out each floor. Do not open map and look where you have missed it. Not hacked computers do not show up on a map of any floor if you are not on that floor.
I have the same problem as Jamison, but I did as you said, even used your maps and still cant find it, i counted every computer i checked aswell but nope, no computer reacts when I get close (tried pressing E even without a reaction) still 32/33, super annoying, must be bugged for me.
It was actually weird for me, because I have had 33/33 with one computer not hacked. It was number 2 in fl.15 cco. If I remember correctly this computer was a part of a mission where you access the main room with computer 1 with a help of a suspended platform. When I got back to check it out, it was still there not hacked, and I hacked it even with 33/33.
Did anyone else notice that hacking two computers on the level 3 access section gave the same reward video of Connor’s Abstergo review? I got the same video twice in a row by hacking a server room followed by the laptop on the table just outside the server room. BUG? ERROR? Or are they one hack reward short so had to re-use one? short

This hacking crap sucks ihate this part of the game is there any way to skip it

this is really annoying. Can’t find the last computer. got all the notes, and that reward note. Is there any reward for hacking everything?

What is Great Minds Commision 4? I have the other three & an curious as to the identity of the fourth.

Make sure you are hacking the security camera computers shown on the map as well as the computers.
