Destiny 2 Inverted Spire Nightfall Strike Guide
Inverted Spire is the Nightfall Strike for the week of October 10th-17th in Destiny 2. This isn’t the first time Inverted Spire has been in the nightfall rotation. This time, it comes with Attrition and Timewarp Kills modifiers. The first one is a serious handicap, but the latter makes up for it, since it allows you to replenish your timer. Inverted Spire Nightfall Modifiers – October 10th-17th
- Attrition – Health and shield regeneration are diminished, so it’s easier to get killed. On the other hand, enemies can drop wells of light, which are essentially health packs. Pick them up to replenish your shields and HP.
- Timewarp: Kills – Killing enemies refills the timer, up to a limit.
How to complete Inverted Spire Nightfall Strike?
Keep an eye on the timer – whenever it’s full, ignore enemies and run past them if you can. There are several parts where you don’t have to fight, and if your timer is already maxed out, you don’t need to. You’ll have to fight the first few groups, in order to activate the Vex launchers. Once you’re out of the cave, you can safely ignore everyone – just jump on your sparrow and race across the area until you get to the bunkers.You’ll have to kill the two officers here in order to activate the jumping platforms. When you get to the drill, you’ll have to fight as well. While waiting for the transit system to reorient, you’ll be jumped by war beasts and legionaires. There’s no way to avoid this fight, and it’ll take quite some time, so it’s a great chance to stock up on seconds. As you jump again, you’ll land near the drill. Mount your sparrow and ignore enemy fire – run straight to and past the drill. Only one of you needs to enter the boss area, and the other two will be teleported to it.
How to defeat Modular Mind in Nightfall Strike?
The boss behaves the same as in the regular strike. There are three phases, and the floor disappears between each two. Save your supers for the last stage – use grenades and appropriate weapons before that. He has a specific attack during the second phase, which does damage to everyone on the ground. Try to stay airborne when he does that.
