How to get Skyburner’s Oath Exotic Weapon?

To get Skyburner’s Oath in Destiny 2, you’ll need to find it by opening Exotic Engrams. That seems to be the only way that will eventually grant you the Exotic Scout Rifle. Exotic Engrams drop as loot from completing various activities in the game. They can drop after completing Public Events, completing side quests, and so on. Pretty much anything that gives you loot can net you an Exotic Engram. Keep farming and decrypting them until you get Skyburner’s Oath.

The rifle itself looks gritty and brutal, like a staple gun. It has an inscription on it, reading “Victory or death” in a Cabal dialect. The intrinsic perk, called Slug Rifle, makes the Skyburner’s Oath Solar slugs stronger when you aim down sights. Even better, the trait For the Empire makes the weapon Full Auto, and it does additional damage to Cabal units, plus penetrates Phalanx shields. The Extended Barrel perk increases your range, but lowers handling speed. The extended magazine gives you more rounds, but your reload speed is lower. Finally, the short-action stock increases handling speed significantly.

In summary, the Skyburner’s Oath Exotic Scout Rifle is a steamroller of a weapon. If you’re using it against Cabal, you’ll be able to mow them down like nothing. It’s also pretty good in the Crucible. You do have to be careful when you reload it, since it takes a good long while, leaving you completely open. Other than that, though, it’s fantastic.
