NBA Live 18 Demo Free Now for Xbox One & PS4 Subscribers
NBA Live 18 Demo is now free for everyone who owns an active Xbox One and PlayStation 4 subscription (PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold). Go to the store, search for NBA Live 18 Demo, and you can download this 16 GB free preview.

During the NBA Live 18 demo, everything you’ve experienced will be carried over into the full game, when it comes out on September 15, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
- The Rise: the prologue section of The One – an all-new way to pursue your legacy, centered on the player and defined by your choices. Progress made in The One during the free demo can be carried over into the full game, so players jumping in early can continue their experience when the full game launches
- Specially-timed Live Events: limited-time activities with special rules, rewards and characters, only available in The One. Rewards earned in weekly Live Events will also carry over into the full game, giving players reason to regularly come back and check out the new events in order to earn new rewards.
- Play Now: experience between the NBA Finals rivals Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors. Unlocked after “Chapter 2: The Venice Game” in The Rise
- Live Run Pick-Up: Unlocked after “Chapter 2: The Venice Game” in The Rise
- Practice
If you can’t see the game in your store, it might not have been updated yet in your zone, and you’ll need to check it from time to time.
The game is set to cost $60, and you can save an additional 33% if you pre-order it before September 15. It will make a total of $40, but you can also lower the price further if you are an EA Access member. They get an additional 10% discount when they purchase a digital version of NBA Live 18 on Xbox Live.
