Horizon Zero Dawn The Frozen Wilds DLC is coming
After this thinly veiled (and badly made) Game of Thrones reference in the title, let us tell you of the launch of the Frozen Wilds DLC for Horizon: Zero Dawn, which takes Aloy to the frozen wilderness of the north, where new mysteries await, as well as some new robo-fauna.
The territory in the North belongs to the Banuk tribe and the twist in the story is that they have been trying to find a way to live side by side with the machines. It should be another fascinating take on post-historical culture, bringing new challenges, but rewards as well, in the shape of new weapons.
The DLC will be out on November 7th, 2017, and there will be more information regarding it as we close to the launch date. For those who are impatient, there is always the pre-order option on the Playstation store (where the summer sale is still going on and Horizon: Zero Dawn can be found at 50% discount at the moment). Those who do pre-order will get a nice little reward in the shape of an exclusive Horizon: Zero Dawn avatar for Playstation Network.
Horizon: Zero Dawn has left its mark on this year’s offer of games on Sony’s console. With 3.4 million copies sold by June (and a whopping 2.6 million sold in the first two weeks!), the game became the best-selling new IP on PS4, as well as the most successful game ever created by Guerrilla Games, who have been Sony’s purveyor of exclusives since Playstation 2, and the first Killzone.
Are you a fan of Horizon: Zero Dawn? Is there anything you would like to see in the DLC that might not have been there in the original game? Or something that was just hinted at?
