Call of Duty WWII Beta Participants Get MP Private Combat Pack
Participants in the Call of Duty WWII beta will get an exclusive MP Private Beta Combat pack. It will include “a unique helmet, calling card, and emblem” that you can use to show off the fact that you participated. The reward items will unlock once CoD WWII launches in November. The first multiplayer beta will be PS4-exclusive, and will take place in late August. After that, at the beginning of September, another beta for both PS4 and Xbox One will happen.
The first Call of Duty WWII multiplayer beta is only about three weeks away. Everyone that preorders the game will get to participate; in fact, that’s pretty much the only way to enter, for now. It will take place from August 25th (10 AM PDT) to August 28th. Only PlayStation 4 players will be able to participate in this one. The second beta, happening from September 1st to September 1st, will be open to Xbox One and PS4 owners.
The people behind CoD WWII have a special little something for those that participate in the beta. Everyone that gives the game an early try will get the exclusive MP Private Beta Combat Pack. This was announced via the official Call of Duty Twitter account. The combat pack comes with a special emblem, calling card, and helmet. This is great news for player that want to let everybody know that they were in the beta. A reply to the tweet notes that these items will become available after the game is released.
As mentioned above, you’ll need to preorder CoD WWII to participate in the beta. If you buy the game off of the PlayStation or Xbox Store, you’re in automatically. If you preorder from a participating retailer, you’ll get a code that you need to redeem.
