Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption Launches in Q1 2018
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is a boss battler action RPG, developed by Dark Star Game Studios and published by Another Indie. In the game, you play as Adam, a fallen warrior trying to atone for his sins. On your journey, you will battle eight bosses, seven of which represent, you guessed it, the seven deadly sins. The game is slated to come out in Q1 2018. However, you’ll have the chance to try it out at Gamescom and PAX West.
The new brainchild of Dark Star Game Studios, called Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption, has been revealed. The developers describe it as a boss battler action RPG, in which you will battle eight bosses. Your interactions with them will decide which of several endings you’re going to get. The launch window of the game is set for Q1 2018, on PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and Mac.
In Sinner, you take on the role of Adam, who travels the afterlife (presumably some version of Hell), trying to save his soul. The game centers around eight bosses; seven of them being the deadly sins. While it does somewhat resemble a more stylized Dark Souls, Sinner puts its own little twist on the formula. Before each boss fight, Adam has to make a sacrifice. You have to choose which stat you want to level down. That way, future battles become harder and harder, but in a way that ties together to the plot of the game.
Although the game is still months away, you’ll have a chance to test it out. Your first opportunity will be Gamescom, in hall 3, stand D-01B, booth 370. Your second chance will be at PAX West, booth 7315.
Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption also got a reveal trailer, which shows off some of the action and boss battles. You can check it out below.
