Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Still Tops UK Sales Charts
The Crash Bandicoot remaster is still dominating the UK sales charts, according to Chart-Track. Splatoon 2 is still in second place, and hasn’t managed to climb to the top. Several major titles have dropped from the top-ten list, while some staples of the list, like GTA V and FIFA 17, are still hanging on. Interestingly, Hey! Pikmin barely made a bleep on the radar.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has completed its fourth week in first place in UK sales charts. Last week, we theorized that Splatoon 2 might overtake it, but that hasn’t happened. However, Splatoon 2 has managed to stick to second place another week, which is still pretty impressive. As far as other Nintendo games go, Miitopia managed to make its way to number seven. Hey! Pikmin only managed to reach number 29, which is no surprise, as the game ended up being a letdown. In short, Sony has reason to celebrate.
Interestingly, several major titles have dropped off the top-ten list since last week. Specifically, Overwatch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Breath of the Wild, as well as the remaster of Final Fantasy XII. On the other hand, Doom, Ghost Recon: Wildlands, and Dishonored 2 have made their way back. GTA V has stayed in third place since last week, and Fallout 4 has climbed to fourth. Also, Rugby League Live 4 came in eight place, pushing FIFA 17 down to ninth. Interesting that a rugby game could take over a huge franchise like FIFA, if even for a week.
Here’s the top-ten best-selling games in the UK for last week, according to Chart-Track. As always, keep in mind that these numbers don’t take digital sales into account, only physical copies sold.
