Destiny 2 Three New Preorder Bonuses Discovered on Blizzard App
Three new Destiny 2 preoder bonuses have been discovered, thanks to the Blizzard app and attentive players. The bonuses are the Coldheart exotic rifle, the Kill-Tracker Ghost, and a Salute emote. Those that don’t preorder will be able to get the Coldheart rifle in-game three months after launch. There’s no information about the bonus Ghost and emote being unlockable in-game.
A watchful Destiny 2 player, Redditor SleepyNade, noticed that the Blizzard app has added three preorder bonuses to Destiny 2. They include an exotic rifle, a special Ghost, and an emote. These items will be available to all players that pre-purchase the game.
First up is the Coldheart exotic trace rifle. This weapon features brand new mechanics, since it fires a continuous beam, rather than “normal” projectiles. Don’t worry, you’ll still have to fight against the recoil. If you don’t want to preorder Destiny 2, you’ll still be able to acquire Coldheart in-game, according to PvP Live. However, the weapon will stay exclusive to those that have pre-purchased for three months after launch. In other words, you won’t be able to get it before December 5th.
The Kill-Tracker Ghost is the second bonus. Really, the name tells you everything you need to know. It will track your kills, both in PvP and PvE. As you can see in the image, the Ghost also has an exclusive skin. It remains to be seen how detailed the tracking will be, as in, will it track how many enemies you’ve killed with each weapon, etc. The Salute emote that you get for preordering is pretty basic stuff. This is probably the least interesting bonus of the bunch. We don’t yet know if you’ll be able to get this Ghost and salute in-game.
Destiny 2 comes out on September 6th for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and on October 24th for the PC. For more information, check out our list of Destiny 2 articles.
