The Sims 4 Coming on Xbox One Mid-November This Year
The Sims 4 is coming to Xbox One mid-November this year, according to the Microsoft store. There are no news about its PlayStation or Nintendo Switch edition, and the Xbox One release is solely based on the game’s Microsoft store page. The full details and possible official confirmation might come from EA during Gamescom this year. Expect to see more details soon, or during Gamescom from August 21st, 2017.
Since The Sims 4 was released back on September 2, 2014, there were calls for its console version. A lot of fans would’ve liked to see it there, but didn’t have the opportunity. The hopes for a console version were shattered a year ago, as Lyndsay Pearson, executive producer of The Sims 4, made a clear statement about it on Twitter.
I want to clarify that we have no plans for a console version of The Sims 4 anytime in the near future. Ignore the rumors.

There are currently two Xbox One editions of The Sims 4 on the store. There is no pricing for either of them, but the release dates are different. The Sims 4 standard edition comes out on November 17, and the Deluxe Party Edition on November 14. The Deluxe one will certainly cost more, and it will contain additional content, such as:
- Life of the Party Digital Content – Features the Flaming Tiki Bar and sleek, stylized outfits for your Sims.
- Up All Night Digital Content – Features the Laser Light Show, fun decorations, and outrageous party costumes.
- Awesome Animal Hats Digital Content – Features a collection of fun animal hats for your Sims to wear and show off!
All three additional items listed in the Deluxe Party Edition were also a part of the PC Digital Deluxe Upgrade. It was released back in September 5, 2014. It now costs $15, and contains the digital soundtrack as well.
If you pre-order the game (which is currently unavailable), you get the Perfect Patio stuff, featuring hot tubs, more fashion, and bonus decor! This is a part of the content pack that was released back in June 16, 2015. At the moment, it costs $10. However, if you pre-order the Deluxe Party Edition, you also get up to 3 days of early access.
