Bungie Reveals Which Accomplishments Carry Over to Destiny 2
In less than a month, Destiny veterans can earn their spot in the history of Destiny 2 through the recognizable emblematic gameplay accomplishments. There are seven of these accomplishments that will transfer to Destiny 2. Some of them can still be acquired to this date, but the majority can’t. If you still want to work for them, you have less than a month.
In the new game, every Destiny 2 player starts from the bottom. Everything you’ve worked hard for in the first game will fall into oblivion and fire. Everything but the recognition of your deeds in the first title.
Veteran Destiny players will receive up to seven unique Emblems, only obtainable for them, by completing specific events in the first game. These seven items are called Memorialization Emblems and they mark a specific completed accomplishment.
The emblems, among many other places, can be seen in orbit while you are forming your Fireteam, or above your Guardian in the character screen.
Destiny 2 Memorialization Emblems names and how they are/were obtainable are listed in this Bungie article. They are as follows:
Name | Description |
---|---|
Laurel Triumphant | You completed a Moment of Triumph during Destiny’s first year. |
Laurea Prima II | You completed all 10 Moments of Triumph during Destiny’s first year. |
Slayer of Oryx | You owned The Taken King and completed a Moment of Triumph during Destiny’s second year. |
Heard the Call | You owned The Taken King and completed all 8 Moments of Triumph during Destiny’s second year. |
Young Wolf | You owned Rise of Iron and reached Rank 2 in the Age of Triumph record book. |
Saladin’s Pride | You owned Rise of Iron and reached Rank 7 in the Age of Triumph record book. |
Lore Scholar | Your achieved a Grimoire score of over 5,000 in Destiny 1. |
As you can see from the table, the first four were obtainable by the players who completed these events in the first two years of Destiny. The last three, Young Wolf, Saladin’s Pride and Lore Scholar can still be obtained if you are fast enough. Bungie will keep tracking this until August 1, 2017. After this date, the data will be frozen in time, as they begin preparing for the launch of Destiny 2.
