Pokemon GO Fest Chicago Tickets Now Available for Purchase
Niantic is organizing several real-life events in celebration of the game’s first anniversary. One of these is the Pokemon GO Fest in Chicago, taking place in Grant Park on July 22nd. The tickets for the event are now on sale, so you’d better hurry up and secure one for yourself!
The first birthday of Pokemon GO is approaching fast, and Niantic has a lot of stuff prepared to celebrate the occasion. The first leg would be the Ice and Fire Solstice event, which is ending soon. The next move is the implementation of new Gym features and Raid Battles, which is currently ongoing. If you’ve been wondering why Pokemon GO Gyms are closed, that’s why. That’s just a portion of what the developers have planned in-game.
On top of all the in-game stuff, Niantic also has several different real-life events planned to mark the occasion. Among them is the Pokemon GO Fest in Chicago, Illinois. The event will o down in Grant Park on July 22nd. However, the tickets are already on sale, and you can grab them on the Pokemon GO Fest website. If you want to attend the festival, you might want to get a move on and secure a ticket for yourself.
Of course, the USA won’t be the only place in which Pokemon GO live event will take place. Trainers in Europe will be getting several separate events from June to September, for which Niantic will be cooperating with Unibail-Rodamco malls. In Japan, the Pokemon company will be hosting a special event in Yokohama sometime in August. The event will be called “Pikachu Outbreak”. So far, Niantic hasn’t announced any other information about those other events. Of course, we’ll keep you posted as soon as we find out more.
