Humble Store Capcom Weekend Offers Resident Evil At a Discount
The weekend is upon us, and someone, somewhere, is having trouble deciding what to play. We’re spoiled for choice in this day and age, and sales are one of the ways the industry uses to steer us towards particular games. Enter Capcom Weekend, a three-day long sale of titles from the Japanese publisher, over on the Humble store. If you’ve got a hankering for some zombie action, it’s the place to be. There’s around fifty games on offer, some of them with discounts up to 80% off.
This is a great chance to pick up Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, if you haven’t already. It’s down 33% and costs $40. It’s the highest point the series has reached in a long time – if you have any interest in survival horror, it’s worth checking out. The rest of the series is there as well – we’d like to single out the remake of the first game, which costs $10 (down from $20), and will allow you to see how the whole thing started. There’s also Resident Evil 4, which is another high point for the franchise – you can pick it up for $7, which is 66% less than usual. If you want our advice, you can safely skip the rest (which includes numbers five and six, the Revelations spin-offs and the unfortunate Umbrella Corps).
If you’re in the mood for some fisticuffs, Street Fighter 5 is there to sate the hunger. You can get it for $20, which is half its usual price. If you’re wary of it, thanks to its rocky first year, there’s also Street Fighter X Tekken, as well as Ultimate Street Fighter 4.
You can also get the last few Devil May Cry games (three, four and the reboot), the first three Dead Rising’s, Remember Me and Lost Planet. If you’re in a retro mood, you could snag the remastered Ducktales, the Megaman Collection or one of the Bionic Commando games.
