The Lost Legacy, the upcoming Uncharted spinoff, got a new story trailer at Sony’s E3 2017 panel. The game stars Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross, and the cinematic trailer shows us snippets of their relationship while hunting for the Tusk of Ganesh. They are not exactly best of friends, but they play off of each other marvelously. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is coming out in late August 2017.

The upcoming Uncharted 4 spinoff game, The Lost Legacy, was announced by Sony at E3. The story happens some time after the events of Uncharted 4, and the main character this time around is Chloe Frazer. We follow her on an adventure through India and the Western Ghats mountain. Nadine Ross is along for the ride as Nadine’s extremely reluctant ally. They don’t trust each other as far as they can throw one another, but they’ll have to learn to work together in order to get the Tusk of Ganesh and survive the raging civil war. Here’s a description of the game from Sony.

In order to find an ancient Indian artifact, Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross must venture deep into the Western Ghats mountains, discover the lost cities of the Hoysala Empire, and face a ruthless warmonger, Asav.

The Lost Legacy will come out on August 22nd, 2017. It will be a game in its own right, though possibly not as big as Uncharted 4. You’ll be able to pick it up for free if you own Uncharted 4, though. If not, it’ll cost you $39.99. It’ll be a PlayStation exclusive, just like all the other games in the franchise. Lost Legacy also got a new story trailer, giving us bits and hints from the plot and character relationships.

My favorite part of the trailer is the relationship between Nadine and Chloe. They would clearly love to kill each other, but have to cooperate. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy promises to be a fun adventure with some very likable characters.
