Diablo 3 gets a major new patch
After almost 4 years of existence, Diablo 3 receives another major patch, 2.5.0, which brings a large amount of improvements and changes. Among them, the Armory and the crafting material storage are the largest ones.
Armory will provide you with the means to save up to five builds per character. It will appear in the town in each act. You can save and equip items easily as well as swap them between your character and your stash.
Crafting material storage means that all materials used in crafting which you find while playing will appear in a separate tab in storage. You will be able to access this tab in the Inventory window.
Primal Ancients are items that come with Ancient stats and they have the maximum number of slots. Legendary and Set Items will also have a chance to roll as Primal Ancient. In order to find them, you need to reach Greater Rift 70 with at least one character.
The patch also includes some changes to the Adventure Mode, as well as some quality of life fixes. The requirements for some difficulty levels in public games were changed from Paragon level to the highest solo Great Rift cleared. The stats on a list of legendary, as well as class specific items for the Crusader, Monk, Witch Doctor, Wizard, have been changed.
Among other things, Season 10 launches on March 31 on consoles for the first time, which means that Diablo 3 players on PS4 and Xbox One will finally be able to join the fun. For those who are unaware how the Season differs from normal play, here are some words from Blizzard: “Your first character in a Season will start completely from scratch. Each additional Seasonal character can only share progress with this character. When the Season ends, these characters will become non-Seasonal and any items, progress, or Challenges they’ve earned in the Season will be available to non-Seasonal characters.”
