Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition Story Trailer Released

Gearbox Software have released a new trailer for Bulletstorm: Full Clip edition, the remaster of the 2011 first person shooter. The video details the story, which is arguably the worst part of the whole thing, but we’re not ones to argue. It’s funny how, instead of focusing on the chunky gameplay, or the delicious weapons, they decided to showcase the most tiresome part of the game, though.

Something, something, betrayal. Gruff shooty man being yelled at by gruff shooty woman. Ten thousand dick jokes. Yawn. If this is what should convince you to buy it, they’re out of luck. Thankfully, the game really is a decent shooter. It has hefty weapons that feel great to use, a whip to throw enemies around and a system that rewards creative kills.

The Full Clip edition is basically a remaster, with tidier graphics and audio, as well as some other cool bonuses. It includes all of the released content from the original version, like maps and game modes. They’ve added a new campaign mode that allows you to start with the complete arsenal unlocked and no restrictions on skill shots. They’ve added several new Echo maps, which are kind of like a challenge mode. They mention “smoother framerate”, but it’s unclear whether this means more frames, or a more stable framerate than before.

Bulletstorm: Full Clip Editions is going to be released on April 7th, on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It’s going to be sold for $60, which is a completely ridiculous price, considering it’s a game from six years ago. If you’re on PC, you should probably just try to get the original version, if you’re into that kind of game. Console users are out of luck in that regard – the original version was released on previous-gen platforms only.
