Blue Beetle gameplay Injustice 2
IGN released a new gameplay video for Injustice 2, featuring 10 minutes of Blue Beetle’s fights against Atrocitus, Superman, and Supergirl. We can see a wide variety of his moves and special abilities. Make sure you check out the video below:
As we can see, the Blue Beetle is using a combination of flying attacks, kicks and punches for some great combos. He also has blades on his arms and completely change the gameplay. As for the ranged attacks, he can fire a blue energy beam at his opponents. In the battle against Superman, we can see him using his shield for a nice knockdown. Blue Beetle looks very versatile, and can easily adjust to any opponent.
Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to see his super move in action, since it was blocked by his opponents. Supergirl really gave him a lot of trouble at the end, but he managed to adjust eventually and take the epic victory.
Blue Beetle is in fact called Jaime Reyes, and he is the third character to take on the mantle of Blue Beetle. Like in the comics, the Blue Beetle scarab is grafted onto his spine and can manifest a number of powers. When necessary, the scarab activates, crawling out onto his back and generating a high-tech suit of powered armor around his body.
The suit itself can reconfigure, based on the combat situation. It cab create wings, blades, an energy cannon, a sword and shield and a grappling hook. Jaime also has enhanced strength and durability, as well as the ability to translate alien languages.
Injustice 2 is set to release on May 16, 2017 for Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles. At the momen,t there are three available editions for purchase, and each one comes with different bonuses. You can get a standard, digital deluxe or ultimate edition.
