Let’s start with minimum requirements. To play the game at 720p and 30 fps, you’ll need an Intel Core i3-550 or AMD Phenom II X4 955 processor or equivalent. Your video card should at least be a NVIDIA GeForce GTX660/GTX750ti/GTX950/GTX1050 with 2 GB VRAM or more, or a AMD Radeon HD6970/HD7870/R9 270/R9 370/RX460, also with 2 GB of VRAM or more.

You’ll also need at least 4 GB of system RAM.

As for the recommended settings, you’ll need an Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD FX-635, or an equivalent processor. Ubisoft also recommends you use either NVIDIA GeForce GTX680/GTX760/GTX970/GTX1060, or AMD Radeon R9 280X/R9 380/RX470, with at least 2 GB of VRAM. Add 8 GB of system RAM, and you’ll be good to go. With this setup, you’ll be able to run the game on 1080p at 60 fps.

For Honor went through some downscaling prior to the closed beta. It seems the game ditched the promised co-op split-screen,a s well as local multiplayer. Instead, you’ll have to stay connected on Ubisoft’s servers at all times for online multiplayer. Despite promises made earlier by Ubisoft, you’ll also have to maintain an online connection even for single player. We’ll see if anything changes from the For Honor closed beta, but don’t hold your breath.

For Honor is set in a Medieval fantasy world torn by a war between three factions: the samurai (or the Chosen), knights (the Legion) and Vikings (the Warborn). Behind the war is a mysterious group of warlords headed by Apollyon. I don’t know how you feel about it, but that is the most ridiculously awesome setup for a game ever.

The full game is coming out on February 14th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
