Skyrim confirmed for Nintendo Switch
Bethesda developers confirmed the Skyrim release for Nintendo Switch. We first saw Skyrim gameplay in the Switch initial trailer, but now they’ve officially confirmed the release of highly popular The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. We don’t have the exact release date yet, but we will keep you posted.
The first version of Skyrim was released in 2011, and it’s still one of the most popular games in the genre. Up to now, Skyrim has received several upgraded versions, with the Legendary and lastly the Special Edition that was released in October of 2016. Hopefully, Switch players will receive the Special Edition, since it is the most polished one and provides the best performance, and it includes all three DLC’s: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn.
Nintendo Switch players will have to fight and defeat the famous Alduin the World-Eater, while unleashing a wide variety of skills and powers in the vast and immersive world of Skyrim. Skyrim offers thousands of quests to finish and multiple factions to join and fight for their cause. It is set in a huge world, and it provides one of the best open-world RPG experiences.
Players will take role of the Dragonborn, born with the soul of a dragon. Absorbing souls of the other dragons will grant you some devastating powers called shouts. One of the most interesting ones is the Unrelenting Force, the famous fus ro dah. It will produce a shock wave that will push away everything that stands in your way.
It is considered to be one of the greatest video games of all time, and it is not a surprise that Skyrim sold over over 30 million copies across all platforms, and 7 million just in the first week of release.
If you are interested in purchasing the Nintendo Switc,h it will be released on the 3rd of March, and it will cost you 299$.
