One of the new things implemented in this title is the new gear system. This system offers players loot after every match. Loot in the sense that it’ll give you character look and abilities customization.
Take control over how your favorite characters look, how they fight, and how they develop across a huge variety of game modes.EVERY BATTLE DEFINES YOU: With every match you’ll earn gear to equip, customize and level-up your favorite DC characters, meaningfully impacting how they look and fight.
The date was confirmed by NetherRealm Studios, more than a half a year after the initial announcement.
