Gravity Rush 2 Review Round-Up

Gravity Rush 2 is a action-adventure game developed by by SIE Japan Studio and Project Siren and will be published by Sony for the PlayStation 4. The game is coming out on January 18th in Europe and Australia, January 19th in Japan, and January 20th in North America and the UK. Even though the game is not out yet, the review embargo is over, and reviews have started pouring out. So, we’ve decided to list reviews of Gravity Rush 2 for your convenience and help you make the decision if you want to buy the game.

This action-adventure game revolves around manipulating gravity. The game’s protagonist Kat can direct gravity any way she wants, which allows for some pretty cool maneuvers. It’s basically a bigger and better version of its predecessor. The story picks up where the first Gravity Rush left off. Kat will be able to interact more with NPCs, while the city we explore seems much more alive and colorful. The game will be about 20-40 hours long, with a map 2.5 times larger than the previous one. As you can see, the majority of the reviews give the game pretty high scores. Nothing too stellar, but it definitely seems to be a fun and competent game. The overall score on Metacritic is 80, which is fairly solid. The overall consensus seems to be that if you didn’t much care for the first Gravity Rush, this one won’t change your mind. That’s fine; after all, this game is just the previous one on a larger scale. In conclusion, this seems to be worth picking up. In fact, it might even be a solid getting-on point for new fans.
