Resident Evil 7 Will Be Protected By Denuvo DRM

Capcom’s new child, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, has been creating a lot of buzz recently. In order to avoid piracy, Capcom will protect their game’s PC version with Denuvo DRM. Denuvo is a pretty popular DRM used by many games to stop PC piracy.

If you take a look at the Resident Evil 7 Steam DB page, you can see that Capcom has implemented Denuvo DRM to prevent the PC version of the game from being pirated.

The series is taking a sharp turn away from its action-heavy predecessors. Instead, it’s going back to its horror roots. At the same time, it’s not afraid to borrow from modern horror classics, such as Amnesia and Outlast. This will provide us with an amazing new experience that is both fresh and familiar.

One of the ways that the series is turning the clock is the prominence of the survival element. Once again, resources will be scarce. According to Masachika Kawata, the producer of RE 7, we will have a huge arsenal of weapons available. However, they will be very hard to find

The one thing I do want to point out though is the fact that the weapons aren’t going to be that easy to find. So until you find them and have that advantage you’re probably going to be running around considerably a lot more.

People who have had the chance to play sections of Resie 7 outside of the demo have confirmed this. The series is ditching the over-the-shoulder action for sneaking and running away, solving convoluted environmental puzzles and micromanaging our tiny inventory.

For a complete and modern horror atmosphere, the game will be in first person. The game will support VR across platforms, though the PlayStation VR will have exclusivity for the first year. Are you brave enough to try it?

Resident Evil 7 is hitting the shelves on January 24th, 2017 (January 26th in Japan) for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

So you will need a i7 and GTX 1080 to play at 30fps ?
BECAUSE denuvo uses all your system resources and slows the game way down.
