Ride Together Trailer Released | Final Fantasy XV
Final Fantasy XV is out worldwide. The hype was already through the roof before release, but the marketing machine is still working.
On November 29th, they released a trailer that is… different than the previous one. You can watch it in its entirety below.
Honestly, it starts off like a pretty good movie trailer. In the beginning, we’re shown the moment when Nocits and friends leave the palace. We get a shot of the Regalia on the road and transforming into the Regalia Type F. We see some Arminger weapons, a summon, shots of princess Lunafreya talking to the Leviathan. =There’s also a few cool fight scenes and little nuggets of plot to get us interested. This is followed by a few tracking shots of the Eos scenery, and then…
Really? Eminem? I mean, I like Eminem as much as the next guy (if the next guy doesn’t like Eminem very much), but in a Final Fantasy trailer? It’s just so strange. The trailer from then on is still cool, showcasing some awesome combat footage against enormous monsters and peppered with Prompto’s quips, more shots of Eos and so on. But I can’t help being distracted by the music choice. It’s like we went from Final Fantasy to Bad Boys II in a blink of an eye.
